Due to concerns and impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic, the biennial Oregon Governor’s Occupational Safety and Health (GOSH) Conference will return in 2023 to the Oregon Convention Center in Portland. The event is scheduled for March 6-9, 2023.
Planning for the next Oregon GOSH Conference will resume in 2022. We look forward to meeting with the planning teams to continue the rewarding work and implementing the creative ideas we had started before the 2021 event was cancelled.
Registration for the 2023 event is expected to open in winter of 2022, with exhibit space assignments beginning in September 2022, and awards nominations accepted in summer of 2022. The hope is this conference will once again feature a skills demonstration in the Columbia Forklift Challenge.
Oregon GOSH is a joint effort of the Columbia-Willamette Chapter of the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) and the Oregon Occupational Safety and Health Division (Oregon OSHA), a division of the Department of Consumer and Business Services.
