Initiatives and accomplishments include:
- Over the past five years, CRMG has increased efforts to ensure safety committee representation from all areas of the company to include all their onsite positions with limited corporate representation.
- Safety committee members play a crucial role in developing the annual safety topic calendar and the quarterly all-company virtual training topics.
- The committee was directly involved in the company’s development of puncture-resistant gloves that allowed employees to handle sharps safely.
- The committee helped collaborate with the City of Portland’s Safe Blocks Program to organize a companywide webinar on personal safety.
