We’ve got a big crew moving the March 3-6 GOSH Conference forward. It includes many exhibitors and sponsors. Their support is critical, and we are grateful to them. Thank you! And our crew has room for more. Please take a look at who’s on board by visiting our exhibit and support pages. If you’d like to be part of supporting the Northwest’s largest workplace safety and health conference, you can use the page links to learn more or send us an email: oregon.gosh@dcbs.oregon.gov

And as we look forward to opening registration for GOSH in January 2025 (be ready to reserve your seat!), we want to remind you of all that the event has to offer. That includes putting the spotlight on keynote speaker Sally Spencer-Thomas, impact entrepreneur and co-founder/president of United Suicide Survivors International.

“Dr. Sally” is a clinical psychologist and award-winning mental health advocate. Her presentation – “You Can’t Fix Your Mental Health with Duct Tape: Why Burnout Mitigation, Mental Health Promotion, Addiction Recovery, and Suicide Prevention are Health and Safety Priorities” – will show why mental health matters in the workplace and why leaders need to address risk factors and environmental drivers. She will share the steps to take using “upstream, midstream and downstream” strategies.

At the same time, the conference will offer a broad range of learning opportunities for all industries. It will address everything from fall protection, hazard identification and industrial hygiene to communication and training, prevention of workplace violence, and the key components of a strong safety culture.

We look forward to seeing you at GOSH!
